Lerna May-Frandsen, violin
Ms. May-Frandsen began her Suzuki Violin instruction at the age of three with Doris Preucil and Sonja Zeithamel. Ms. May-Frandsen has performed with the Georgetown Symphony Orchestra, the Prince George’s County Philharmonic Orchestra, the Landon Symphonette, the Soulful Symphony, and was a member of the Kinara String Quartet. Ms. May-Frandsen freelances in the Greater Washington, D.C. area and has performed with famous musicians such as Smokey Robinson and the late Ray Charles. She is a founding member of Umoja String Quartet® and maintains a private teaching studio. Ms. May-Frandsen is the president of Entertainment and Literary Management, Inc. She received a B.A. degree in American Studies from the University of Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law.
